We know that sending out positive energy brings it right back in our direction, so focus now on creating some of that light and positive energy. This exercise is pure fun! It is writing a tale of your most perfect day, as you imagine it to be.
You can bring anything into your story that you like. You can be presented with the Nobel Peace Prize, you can win the lottery, you can get a big raise at work, you can find buried treasure in your back yard, you can meet your soul mate, you can kiss in public, you can discover a cure for cancer, you can eat a whole chocolate cake, you can live in the south of France for a month, speaking French oh-so-perfectly and enjoying superb cuisine and never gaining an ounce… the possibilities are endless! As you imagine, feel the feeling of everything going your way. Really feel your joy as you are writing; connect your heart with your mind.
Fix your attention on the happiness the events in your tale bring you. Engage in a heartfelt conversation with your teenage daughter, find a quarter on the sidewalk, receive a really warm smile from someone on the bus, get a call from your best friend from high school, imagine your boss appreciating you…just feel darn good all day! Notice if your body also feels better as your emotions become lighter and happier.
Start your tale of the perfect day from the moment you open your eyes and waken. Have total fun with it. Write about anything that feels good. Put the focus on people, or stuff, or awards, or health, or relationships, anything and everything that you know, or imagine, will make you feel light and happy inside. Play with it. Be imaginative. Let that energy start flowing. It seems simple enough, but do not let the simplicity fool you because the positive returns will be powerful.
This is a writing exercise that you can expand on as time goes by. When new ideas come to you, give yourself the gift of writing them into your story. If you want, you can take this a bit further and observe what happens over time. You will notice that many of your dreams have come into your reality. Just make sure you keep them in your story because you want them to keep coming back to you, over and over and over!
By listening to my ideas you probably have an idea of how much this will be for you. But remember you have to write it yourself to have it work for you, so grab your pen and paper and start writing!
