FOREWORD:
I’ve chosen the title simply because just as many people find a Grocery List helpful to get exactly what they want in the least amount of time in a Grocery Store, there are certain Lists which will help each of us get exactly what we desire out of Life in the least amount of time.
Any one of these Lists can have a dramatic impact on your Life. All of them together will provide you a Life and Lifestyle that most people only dream about achieving. It’s my desire that you will give careful consideration to constructing each List so that you will indeed become the Best you can become.
“If you work at developing a Lifestyle for the next 5 years like most people WON’T
you’ll be able to live your Life like most people CAN’T.”
CHAPTERS:
Gratitude List
Accomplishment List
To Do List
What I’m Learning List
Goals List
Ways to Improve List
GRATITUDE LIST
This is a definite Attitude Changing List that everyone should have. When it seems that Life has you down and is kicking you repeatedly, simply get out your Gratitude List and start to appreciate all of the wonderful things that you have to be thankful for. It is a great way to offset and/or replace all of the Negative thoughts that have been occupying your mind.
Start you Gratitude List by writing down each and everything you have been given and that you should be appreciative off. You might include your relationship with a Higher Power, your Health, your Spouse, your Children, your Grandchildren, your Residence, the area of the Country that you live in, your Vehicle(s), your Job or Career, your Income, your Portfolio, your Wardrobe, your Appearance, your Friends or Associates, your Talents and/or Abilities in specific areas, your Hobbies, your Interests, your Volunteer work, the Sunrises, the Sunsets, the Rain, Rainbows, certain Flowers or Birds or Animals, certain things you’ve Acquired, certain Places you been able to visit or even Live, etc.
I urge you to start each item on your List with the words; “I am thankful for . . .”.
As with most Lists, it doesn’t need to be set in concrete. Continually add new things as you think of them. In fact I’ll go so far as to suggest if you can’t add at least one new Experience or Person or Gift to your Gratitude List each and every week, you might be experiencing the Richness of Life that you deserve.
ACCOMPLISHMENT LIST
This is another great list to have which will offset a different set of Negatives. Every so often we start to doubt our progress. We wonder if our efforts are really paying off. We concern ourselves with worry about not accomplishment as much as we want as fast as we want it. Needless to say it helps to remember that our Higher Power provides to us on His timetable and not ours, however it can also help to have an Accomplishment List.
This is a List of everything and every Goal you’ve accomplished, the Date you achieved it and how it Felt. If you’re just now starting this List it’s really neat to sit down and remember and recall everything you’ve accomplished over the last 5, 10 or 20 years to make up your List. Then in the future, add to your List every single time you achieve another Goal, Victory and/or Success, plus the Date you made it happen and most importantly, how It Felt.
If at any time in the future you start to doubt your progress, simply look over your Accomplishment List to appreciate how far you’ve come and all that you have accomplished.
TO DO LIST
Any great Entrepreneur will gladly share with you that one of the most important List they have is their To Do List. This would include everything you should be doing each day and should go at least one Month into the Future. In fact you might want to use a Legal Pad instead of a standard Day Planner. Each page would have the Day and Date written on the top except for the weekend where you might want to have both Saturday and Sunday on the same page. You’ll quickly discover that you can easily have about 6 Weeks on one Legal Pad.
Here’s a critical point that is not included in most other publications. Always assign an “A” or “B” or “C” priority to each item, unless it’s a firm Appointment which you know you’re going to keep. Needless to say, anything that needs to be done immediately or in the near future would have an “A” next to it. Some things that would be nice to do if you have the extra time would be classified as a “B”. The rest are items that you’ll do someday in the future and of course they would have a “C” classification. As you go through each day and each week, certain “B” priorities will need to be changed to an “A” and some “C” items will become a “B” because of time limitations.
Now here’s the most important thing you’ll ever learn about achieving More in Less time. Always start with the things you don’t like or even those things which you despise . . . FIRST. Instead of confusing Activity with Accomplishment and getting a few “B” or “C” items done, you’ll be way ahead of the pack if you concentrate on the “A” items first and never move to a “B” or “C” until and unless all of the “A” items have been completed on your List for that particular day.
WHAT I’M LEARNING LIST
There’s an old saying: “When you’re Green you Grow and when you’re Ripe you Rot” which is so true. It’s amazing how many people are still using the same skills and even choices of words that they learned 5, or 10 or 20 years ago. They certainly don’t have 5, or 10 or 20 years experience. They have one year’s experience repeated many, many years in a row.
I challenge you to start a Legal Pad where you write down a column on the left from top to bottom of Days and Dates and then next to each Day, write down a specific Skill, Technique, Idea or choice of Words that you’ve purposely added to your arsenal on that Day and Date.
If you happen to find yourself at the end of a Day and can’t identify something to add to your Leaning List, at least be willing to open up a Dictionary and blindly point to any Word. Practice, drill and rehearse that Word and add that to you vocabulary.
GOALS LIST
Of course it’s critical to have short term, mid term and long range Goals. You know the drill by now; if you don’t know where you’re going you’ll probably end up someplace else, or if you fail to plan you’re planning on failing.
Remember the Formula when setting Goals; AIM, CLAIM, PROCLAIM and you will OBTAIN.
AIM - Be specific on exactly what you want and describe it in great detail.
CLAIM - Instead of using “I will” or “I am going to” always put your Goal Statement in the “now” by saying; “I AM OWNING . . .” or “I AM EARNING . . . “, etc. Also make sure and have a definite Due Date, such as; “ON OR BEFORE (date)”.
PROCLAIM - Write your Goals on many 3 x 5 Cards and place them in your Sock Drawer, your Car Visor, your Billfold or Purse, your Refrigerator, your Coffee Pot, your Dresser, your Night Stand, etc. and read them out loud every time you see them.
You will OBTAIN - Although this Formula works a majority of the time, it is possible that you will occasionally miss a Goal or a Due Date. No problem. Always remember that the real value of Goal Setting is the person we become in the process of trying to achieve more out of Life.
WAYS TO IMPROVE LIST
Many successful leaders in History are famous for setting aside some time each weekend and writing down at least 10 ways to do what they do Faster, Cheaper or Better. Of course not all of them are Winners however by forcing yourself to constantly and continually evaluate your situation, you’ll be amazed at some of the truly great Ideas you will be able to come up with.
Once you have your List of 10, pick out the one that could have the most dramatic impact on your growth and income and write it out in the form of a Positive Affirmation. Keep that 3×5 Card in your Work area and consciously be aware of it and attempt to implement it whenever possible for the next week. Each weekend simply repeat the process.
CLOSING COMMENT:
Make a commitment to become a Master of your Destiny and I’ll look forward to hearing about your success.

Armed with a list of the things, conditions, circumstances, and people you truly want in your life, how do you now give the items on your list the best possibility of becoming your new consistent thoughts? Actually, you use the same process you used to make your the items on your DO NOT WANT list your consistent thoughts. The major difference is you are now going to be conscious and aware of the process. You now also have your own clearly defined objectives in mind.
What is the process? If you will think back to your very earliest learning experiences, whether it was learning to crawl, to walk, to master the alphabets, or to read, the process was basically one of spaced repetition. Your parents or caregiver would coax you into the activity and engage you in it for a short while. They would likely affirm how well you were doing, heap lots of praise and positive reinforcement upon you, and leave the activity behind for a time. They would later repeat the pattern of coaxing, engaging, affirming, reinforcing, and leaving the activity behind again.
When it came to learning what is now DO NOT WANT activities and behavior, coaxing, in many cases, gradually became demands. Most of the other components of the process remained intact. Pretty simple, is it not?
You are an adult now, and as your DO NOT WANT list will verify, you have lots of mental baggage to discard if you are going to successfully master your mind power and move yourself more toward the kinds of life experiences you desire. Discarding, in this case, really means developing new consistent thoughts and behavioral patterns that are the exact opposite of those you are leaving behind.
A couple of the components in the process will require a significant shift in emphasis. Repeating affirmations will now take center stage in the process, followed closely by positive reinforcement. In my most humble opinion, the use of affirmations is the most powerful free tool available to you and other people of sound mind to take control of your mind power and put it to use for your ends.
As you begin to use affirmations, I think you will understand why I feel so strongly that at least an overview of the self image (personality, ego, map of reality, etc.) is so important. You should be alerted that particularly early on, the self image is going to be extremely active attempting to convince you that your effort to change your life is a waste of time.
It has an arsenal of fears, doubts, and phobias to inject into your thinking process, and it will regularly attempt to direct you back into the direction of your old familiar DO NOT WANT world. Perhaps the most popular trick it uses is to allow you to repeat your affirmation and just as you are ending it, the self image will then ease a tail-ender into your regimen. A tail-ender is a very subtle thought that is in reality the reverse of the affirmation you just completed.
This I know for sure. You can claim or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.

Firstly we need to get clear about what laziness is. We usually don’t think about it much and we generally just label it on anyone that sits around and doesn’t do much (or doesn’t do what we think should be done). Sometimes we quietly feel lazy ourselves and then have an internal struggle between the guilt of not doing what we think we should vs. what we feel.
So another way of looking at laziness is as a lack of motivation. After all, we’re motivated when we have the urge or desire for something other than what we have now or where we are right now. That could be from something that is chosen directly or indirectly.
Some examples of this are, lets say you’re sitting comfortably watching your favourite show on TV, you then feel discomfort from your bladder getting full, you need to get up out of the comfy seat and go to the toilet. This is indirect motivation because in your head, you prefer to stay at rest where you are, but your body is making it increasingly uncomfortable for you to keep sitting there and is telling you to get up and do what needs to be done. You can probably hang on until a commercial break, but of course eventually you get up. This is indirect motivation because it’s not something you chose consciously.
Direct motivation on the other hand is when, for example, you decide you want a job, you feel the excitement of finding a new job and you find yourself taking all this action to do what it takes to finally get the job. You consciously chose this and so directly motivated yourself.
If you stop for a moment and think about your day from the moment you get out of bed to the point you go back to bed, every single movement you do is made up of direct and indirect motivations. We feel hungry, we prepare something to eat, we’re cold, we put warmer clothing on, we’re tired, we sleep, we want to be fit, we exercise, and so on.
The question is, how do find more of the direct motivation rather than just being prodded all the time by external events to take action?
The answer lies in how you feel at any given moment. The feeling required to be motivated can either come from inspiration or desperation (or simply discomfort). While it’s great to be driven by inspiration, I think that for the majority of people, desperation is what drives us. A good example is when people that say, “I have to work, otherwise I’ll lose my house!” It may not feel good but the discomfort gives rise to the motivation to work.
So, having established that we are all motivated by something, whether it’s pleasure or pain, the next step is how do we get in touch with the feeling that will have us take direct motivated action?
You may be thinking it takes willpower to be motivated. Willpower is a temporary force that can be used for a while, but if the thing you’re doing isn’t in alignment with you, then it just becomes struggle, pain and usually fails anyway. Willpower simply isn’t a natural flow, just ask anyone that’s tried to quit smoking through willpower. It’s something you force upon yourself and that doesn’t really feel good and so invariably fails. There’s a saying that goes, “what’s externally imposed is internally opposed”, that could be the description for willpower.
You can probably guess from what I’ve written so far to what the answer is in finding the motivation. It’s about finding what feels good for you, so that the feeling is strong enough to overcome any excuses you may come up with to not take action.
So what happens if day in and day out you can’t find anything that has you feel good?
Then it’s time to surrender to what you have in front of you, the choices are:
· Adjust the way you think, as thoughts give rise to what you feel, or
· Be present by focusing on your breath and allow everything to be ok just as it is, where nothing needs to be done or changed. And see what comes up from there.
Most self help books focus on the first one, but for me the second one is the way to go.
In summary:
· Take time to find what it is that you enjoy doing
· Get in touch with the emotion so that you feel all the great details
· If you find excuses for why you shouldn’t do it then you’re not ready for it yet
· Go back to finding what you enjoy
· In the meantime you’ll probably still have to do things like go to work to pay your bills, but you can bring enjoyment to it knowing that you are also working on something you love.
· If you still can’t find what you enjoy doing, then aim to simply feel good now, by either focusing your thoughts on something that has you feel good, or focus on your breath and allow all that is to be fine just as it is.
· Remember, everyone has heaps of motivation to do things when you feel good.

Workout motivation, anyone?
Sure. But all of us know this - sticking to a workout program is hard!
I’m sure you’ve been there. You start to workout, well for 3 months, then you fall off for 6 months…..Then when new year dawns, you resolve to start workout again, ahem….for 3 months and then you just stop……
Don’t laugh! It’s not only you who do like that. Studies say 90% of us do the same thing.
You know what? Most of the time when you skip or quit a workout program, more often is because you’re LAZY. I know that because I’m lazy too! In fact, all of us are!
Plus the fact if we don’t see the results we want - immediately. That, I’m afraid, seals the fate of your motivation to workout.
How do you get motivated then?
One simple fact here can set you free already……
That 90% of the time motivation is psychologically and emotionally triggered.
Emotions motivate us - we feel the need to do certain things or to achieve certain goals.
What are these emotional triggers?
Let’s see:
1. To Attract The Opposite Sex
We won’t admit this but deep down, this is THE REASON why we workout.
We want to attract the best-looking girls or guys! We secretly wish that with our sleeker and tighter body, we can have droves of them coming for us!
2. To Look Your Best In Swimsuit
Summer’s coming! And you’ll be holidaying at the beach. You get real panicky because you know you’re out of shape!
You want to look good - sleek, toned, tight and slim and “flaunt” your well-shaped body in a slinky, revealing bikini…..
You want people to admire your body.
3. To Be Strong
Strong here meaning you feel good doing things you aren’t able to do before.
I always feel proud I can lift up lots of heavy objects and groceries attributed to my strong muscles while my sisters and friends struggle to lift even the light objects and groceries.
And I relish the sense of strength in my body and the feeling of power over my surroundings.
4. To Feel Good About Yourself
Though you know you don’t look different after just 1 week of working out, but it’s funny that you feel good about yourself and that you feel you’re better-looking already even if you haven’t changed that much yet.
This is what I called self-confidence. It’s a strong emotion that can impact other areas of your life and make you an overall more successful person. Believe me.
5. To Be Healthy
You want to be healthy for yourself, for your family members.
For yourself, you know that regular workout will give you better health and better life quality, now and in the future (especially when you’re old).
You don’t want to be bed-ridden, to be dependent on others. You want to be able to savor health and strength and vitality all your life.
For family members - for your kids and your husband. Family fitness all round to combat better with sicknesses and diseases.
Or your motivation could be from someone close to you…..your father, mother, sister, brother who died due to cancers, heart attack, diabetes…..You decide that you shouldn’t allow yourself to follow in their footsteps….
OK. I’m sure you can add your own emotional triggers.
Just think: what make you decide to workout in the first place?
Remember what it feels like being extremely motivated? Don’t let it fade away!
Write down everything you feel and want.
And do it!
The next time you start to feel lazy or undisciplined, think about these triggers. I promise you, you’ll start to act and workout!
And just so you know….
Sticking with a workout routine is more than just motivation. It takes time, discipline, patience and a constant, daily commitment to see it grow. There isn’t any shortcut but once you make it a part of your life, you would stick to it.

Do it. Do it right. Do it right now.
Life is a game of chess, the player opposite you is Old Father Time. Time is an opponent that stalks its prey with stealth and cunning. You may think that everything is fine and by staying upon the neutral ground of indecision that you are upon safe ground, but those who fail to act will get left behind. Time waits for no man and is no respecter of persons. On the chess board of life time will corner those guilty of hesitation until they are out of options, forced into check mate.
It has taken me 21 years to realise that procrastination is one of lifes easiest and greatest evils. Failure to master to procrastination will result in a huge pile of regrets. Napoleon Hill wrote ‘Indecision and procrastination are twins. Where one is found the other may usually be found also. Kill off this pair before they completely tie you to the treadmill of failure’. You can not stand still in time, everything in the whole universe is in either a state of growth or decay, including your body and the quality of your life, nothing remains inactive or static. So if you are not growing, then you are in fact decaying. Either flow with the current by making the best use of your time or risk finding yourself stuck in an unpleasant life, where your options have been severely reduced.
Time can be a great advantage to those who use it, time used wisely will bring everything that is needed.
The problem is the illusion of time. There really is no such thing. When did you ever live next week? Or experience next year? You didn’t, you only ever experience, ‘NOW’. Tomorrow never comes, its simply the eternal, rolling, ever present, constant moment of now. That’s all you experience, all you can experience. When this realisation is made the benefits are phenomenal. You are in control, you know that if you need to make a change the only time to make that change is now, for now is the only time it can happen. You must change now, so that your future experience of the ‘now’, is a better one.
If you have dreams start today, with a definiteness of purpose that you will achieve them, anything less will only reap lesser results. It was John Lennon who said ‘Life is what happens whilst we are making other plans’. Don’t let life pass you by, follow your plans through, take action now.
Decide! Fortune favours those who make decisions promptly.
Don’t wait until next week to start a diet and lose weight. Get down the gym now. It is only through lack of decision in exercise and disciplined eating that got you fat in the first place.
The girl across the room at the party you want to talk to, just round up your shoulders and do it! Don’t be the guy who bottles it and ten minutes later watches her leaving with another guy, who did have the courage to make his mind up.
If you have an entrepreneurial idea, do not waver! Go right ahead put your idea into action. Or else run the risk of staying in that 9-5, job you hate, for the rest of your life.
This is not doom and gloom. I suppose my writing may have come across slightly more negative than usual but it is because I have been stung by this one. I am trying very hard now to master my time and be true decision maker, some missed opportunities have been because although I wanted them, I never quite truly decided, at least not enough for them to crystallize. But the mastery of decision making is a gift and so rewarding, it separates the men from the boys, the wheat from the chaff. Time taken advantage of and used correctly will profit you no end, and there is plenty of it too. Any endeavour you have in mind there is ample time to achieve it, but you must make a start today.
Choose today,
Hesitate and consign yourself to limited options, due to your neglect decisions will be made for you
or
Be the master of your own mind, make your own decisions, and be free.

Have you had a wake-up call recently, such as an unexpected health crisis, a separation or divorce, or the loss of your job? Perhaps you just feel stuck or restless? Are you yearning for change?
These situations and emotions come with midlife, and this transition can be like falling down Alice’s rabbit hole: frightening, yet at the same time invigorating. Some people come out terrified while others are transformed. Some people renew their passion for a new life with gusto, and others ease along, making small but notable changes.
There is no right way or wrong way to transition through midlife. At some point, you may know you want to change your life, but you may have no idea where to begin and feel stuck. Yet, you simply have to do something!
It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you take some form of action! Do something to shift your life.
Get a new job, clean out your closets, retire a relationship that’s draining your energy, schedule your trek in the rainforest, move to a new city you love, join a group of like-minded boomers, volunteer to help people in another country, go back to school for fun or for a new career, take a dance class to learn to tango.
The unrest that occurs at this period is about sorting out and separating who you are becoming from who you have been. It is a time for deep introspection, and for exploring how you want to live this part of your life and how you want to become more authentically who you are.
These suggestions will help you get unstuck and get to your next step:
Step One: Schedule a quiet time to think about some of the questions maturing boomers must confront as they approach middle age, such as:
Do I want to spend the rest of my working life in my present career?
What would a career change mean at this point in my life?
What changes can I begin to make now to ensure better physical and psychological health for the rest of my life?
Am I really happy and content with my daily life now?
Step Two: Get clear about what you want for your life.
Develop a personal profile that highlights several areas: Your pleasures, your dream job or career, the subjects about which you want to learn more, your strengths and your areas for improvement.
Here’s a way to make your personal profile come alive: put together a picture board that displays all the things to which you are drawn or for which you have a passion, such as: a healthy body, gardening, resting at a spa, sailing, or a peaceful landscape. Cut photos from your favorite magazines to illustrate your passions and paste them on your “dream board.”
Give yourself permission to get in touch with your suppressed vision of who you truly are and how you want your life to actually be.
Step Three: Identify Obstacles and Outdated Beliefs
Do you have limiting thoughts that are holding you back?
Your set of beliefs, thoughts and lifestyle habits, which include your food choices, your form of exercise, your sleep patterns and stress level, can be an obstacle for living a healthy lifestyle. What are your thoughts and limiting behaviors?
Step Four: Take Action to Make Permanent Change
It is not enough to just verbalize or visualize your goals. You must have a plan and take steps to create what you want!
Action Steps: Write down your goals and action steps to achieve them during the next 3 months. Identify your strengths and areas for improvement in following up with your plan.
Step Five: Get Help to Hold Yourself Accountable
To help you manifest your goals and dreams, I recommend that you create accountability by finding a buddy, hiring a coach, or joining a group with like-minded people to help you reach you goals.

It’s The Secret of Champions.
The average NBA player hits 8.3 points per game.
Michael Jordan’s average score was a mind-blowing 32 points per game.
That’s why Michael Jordan was Michael Jordan.
Jordan was so incredibly consistent he retired in 1999 from the NBA still keeping his 32 point career average. Here’s the remarkable thing: His 32 points happened whether he had injuries or not, or who his coach was, or who his teammates were, or who he was playing against. He just scored 32 points—more or less—per game.
When asked how he was able to do that, he revealed the powerful secret of champions. Jordan said, “I simplified it a few years ago: 32 points per game is really just 8 points per quarter. I figure I can get that in some kind of way during the course of a game.”
Amazing? In other words, he “bite-sized” his goal.
Which is what you should be doing if you want to win in life.
Bite-Size Your
Unrealistic Dreams
Let’s say Jeff earns P25,000 a month today.
But Jeff dreams of earning P100,000 a month one day.
Many people will call him, “Unrealistic”.
But in my book, that’s good. I wrote in a previous blog post that from my experience, Unrealistic Dreams attract more resources and commitment because they’re more exciting.
But I agree, dreaming of earning P100,000 a month is daunting. Like flying to the moon.
But like Jordan, Jeff should bite-size it.
Because Jeff surfs the net a lot, he wants to start an internet business. Specifically, he wants to build a website that will earn through Google ads. His goal: Earn P25,000 each month.
His third business venture is his networking marketing business. His goal: Create a passive income of P25,000 each month.
His fourth business venture is connected to his hobby—selling second-hand cars. His uncle has been doing it for years, earning hundreds of thousands each month, and promised to teach him. So if Jeff sells one car a month, he already earns P25,000 each month. (Note: If you want to start your own business, I recommend that you join the Truly Rich Super Marketing Workshop. Click here for more information.)
All of a sudden, P100,000 a month is now doable.
Warning: Jeff shouldn’t start 4 businesses at one go.
He should start one at a time.
And it’s also possible that one of these businesses will be his main business—and explodes to P100,00 a month by itself.
But more on this later…
I Apply Bite-Sizing To My Ministry
Many years ago, I dreamt that I would have 10 special ministries for the poorest of the poor. Not one. Not two. Not three. But ten!
I wanted to care for the abandoned elderly, visit the prisoners, house the orphans, and send street kids to school; I also wanted to build homes for the urban poor and establish a micro-lending program for poor women… I wanted to do so much!
My dream was nuts. It was absolutely insane.
Well today, that dream is no longer a dream.
Here’s an update: We now have 7 ministries for the poorest of the poor. (Yes, we have 3 more to go!) Here’s a secret I’ll discuss with you later: I cheated. I didn’t even have to start the ministries. All I had to do was partner with fantastic friends who were already doing what I wanted to do. In other words, I bite-sized!
Focus On The One Thing
As Jeff shouldn’t start 4 businesses right away, I didn’t start 10 ministries right away.
I just focused on One Thing.
For me, that was Anawim, our home for the abandoned elderly.
For 3 years, I had to live on a piece of land that had nothing else but cogon grass—with no running water and electricity.
Together with volunteers, we lived in nipa huts and cared for the poorest of the poor. We picked them up from the streets and cared for them as our own. We made so many mistakes, I can write a book about them. (Don’t worry, I won’t.)
Once Anawim was established, I was now able to move on to other things. (By the way, I’d like to invite you to be my Partner in my ministries. Join KerygmaFamily.com and together, we can share God’s Love to the world.)
Friend, what is your One Thing?
If you have an Unrealistic Dream, focus on One Thing.
Let me give you another example.
When I wanted to earn more money, I entered into a half-a-dozen businesses: I sold herbal juice, engine oil, memorial plans; I put up a fish ball cart, built an ice cream store, and put up a hotdog stand. Result? I lost money. Big time.
I learned my lesson. I was doing too many things, too soon.
I’ve now learned that at the start of the journey, I should focus on One Thing.
Once that One Thing was stable, I moved on to the next One Thing.
Result? I’m now enjoying multiple income streams: (1) Corporate Seminars; (2) Real Estate; (3) Internet Marketing Business; (4) Education; (5) Financial Services; (6) Stock Market; and (7) Mutual Funds.
But it didn’t start with seven.
It started with one.
Let me ask you again: What is your One Thing?
Cheat!
Find A Dream Team
Finding a Dream Team is so powerful, it’s almost like cheating. (Okay, it’s not really cheating. But I’m using this word to SHOCK you into action.)
Believe me, when you have an Unrealistic Dream, you’ll be forced to look for a Dream Team.
After 10 years of building Anawim, I knew I was in trouble.
Because I couldn’t take another 10 years to build my second ministry for the poor! I did the math: If my goal were 10 ministries, then it would take me 100 years to fulfill my dream.
And then it hit me: Why create the ministries from scratch? Why not partner with other friends who were already doing what I wanted to do?
So I cheated. I looked for a Dream Team who had my passion for the poor.
Anawim is now led by Tim Duran and an incredible team of servants.
After that, I partnered with a street kids ministry, He Cares, led by my friend Jodean Sola.
After that, I partnered with Gawad Kalinga to build a village in Montalban beside Anawim.
After that, I partnered with Rey Ortega and his Alay Foundation, a scholarship program for poor children, and his Tahanan orphanage.
And together, we’re expanding all these ministries.
Friend, cheat!
Who is your Dream Team?
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez

The miracles were very evident to me during this time because I was able to see the neurologist almost immediately, which was amazing. He knew a great cardiologist who also put me right in to his schedule, another miracle. My cardiologist did a number of tests and found that I had a congenital heart defect called ASD, which is an Atria Septum Defect, or a hole in my heart. Yet another miracle had occurred because my angel had been protecting me my whole life. Heart defects can kill a person if not fixed early and they could cause serious blood infections that could kill a person having dental work. I was fortunate having my angel always there to protect me, keep me alive, and blessed.
It was a miracle that I had not died during numerous, involved dental visits. It was a miracle that I did not suffer a massive stroke. It is a miracle that I have not been left with serious handicaps from the stroke and it is a miracle that so much function has been restored to my body. It is a miracle that my son was home and a miracle that I had wonderful doctors who took me right in to find the cause of the stroke and have connections with surgeons who could operate immediately.
All medical professionals have very strict schedules, yet they treated me quickly, as if I was in the hospital and not an outpatient. I have been very blessed and give thanks for my angel and for all the miracles that I have received. The next step after finding the cause of the stroke was open heart surgery, but first I had to find a surgeon. For the weeks that all my medical tests were being done, I continued to look online to see what was going to happen next. I found that a skilled cardio-pulmonary specialist could do my surgery as non-invasive, meaning that my chest would not need to be cut open and cracked. The surgery could actually be done through a serious of small holes and one small incision. I hoped and prayed that we could find such a skilled surgeon.
As my luck would have it and the way I was being blessed during this period of my life, there was a surgeon at the hospital the very day I was having a heart catheterization. My cardiologist put a call in to him and before I left the hospital, I had actually met the surgeon who would be doing the heart surgery on me. We discussed the minimal invasive surgery and he said that I was a good candidate for that type of surgery. Again, I was blessed to be in the right place at the right time to receive the miracle of skilled surgeon being at same place as me who was willing to meet with me with very little notice.
You can read about all the miracles that happened in my life as my heart surgery is continued in “The Greatest Miracle in My Life”. One thing I learned from having a stroke is “that time is of the essence” and if you or anybody you know suffers any of the symptoms that I did, don’t wait but go immediately to a hospital. There is medicine that can be given in the first few hours that will prevent serious brain damage done by a stroke. Know the signs and act, if they ever happen.

Do You Struggle with Self-Motivation? How to get motivated and stay motivated is a challenge everyone struggles with at one time or another.
The difference between consistently self-motivated people and those who frequently feel stuck is to understand that productive action and results depend on preparation — 99% of which is the mindset. In other words, to experience motivational desire, one must first know why they want to take action (what is the motivating desired result), prepare to implement a plan that inspires action, and then to take action.
Self-Motivation naturally exists when there is a contrast between what is presently happening in one’s life and what one definitely wants to happen, and to be clearly determined to experience the desired end result. Otherwise, without proper preparation to doggedly move forward, stalling out is bound to occur.
The problem is that most people don’t prepare a crystal clear vision of what they want to accomplish or how they are going to achieve it. To truly go after a meaningful goal and be motivated, one must set a plan into place that includes practical sequential action steps partnered with a mindset that vigorously supports a positive outcome.
To help reduce or eliminate a nagging struggle to establish motivation and to keep motivated, it is important to understand the powerful impact of establishing the right mindset. How one communicates within their thoughts is key to developing an inner support system for positive forward movement, especially during challenging moments.
At the heart of achieving the necessary mindset is to understand that the subconscious mind is infinitely more powerful than the conscious mind. Repetitive information fed to the subconscious mind that is supportive of one’s goal is of enormous benefit. The result is either positive-in-positive-out or negative-in-negative-out. It is wise to make a conscious choice to prepare the subconscious mind for successful action.
If one constantly degrades their actions or self-worth, that is exactly what the subconscious mind will believe — and it will strongly reinforce that belief. Knowing the impact this part of the mind plays, the better choice is to carefully deliver constructive, positive thoughts.
Feed the subconscious mind exactly the thoughts and vision you want to experience — preferably, as if it is presently happening. For example, “I am a successful entrepreneur” is better than “I want to be … “
Motivation and sustained self-motivation is based on the understanding of just how influential the proper mindset is to successful outcomes.

Recently I took my 12-year old niece Shannon to Karate. When we were about to leave the sky opened and it starting pouring rain. I thought I even saw a cat and a dog come down! I made a dash for the car and thought Shannon was right behind me. Not today. She sauntered along with her little smiling face turned skyward and mouth open trying to drink rain.
I yelled out in my stuck-in-a- rut voice, “Shannon, what are you doing? You are getting all wet.”
She happily replied, “It is just water, Janie. Enjoy it! Besides, it makes your hair soft.”
I stood there in the rain and thought about it. Yes, it was only water. I am not the Wicked Witch (open for debate) and melt. And it sure felt great to stop and enjoy it! I was going to take a shower anyway so who cares if I got wet?
It made me think of all the rules we tell ourselves:
• It is raining. Stay inside.
• It is snowing. Stay inside.
• It is too early to walk.
• It is too late to walk.
• I don’t eat that.
• I don’t do that.
• I’ll do it later.
Where does it leave us? Inside, bored and out of shape! Are you stuck in a comfort zone that is not even comfortable?
ACTION STEP
1. Identify what part of your life is in a rut.
2. Brainstorm some fun ideas to try.
3. Do it!
Here are some ideas.
• I always told myself I couldn’t paint. Boring comfort zone message.
Then my dad taught me and now I just love to paint! Energizing action!
• I was always scared to stay home alone. Boring comfort zone message.
So I signed up for karate and now I am a stress-free blackbelt! Energizing action!
What about you? What one simple thing can you do today to declare a jumpstart on your life? A walk around the block? Turning off the TV and playing Twister? Calling an old friend and planning a jet-ski day? Go for it! You might even get softer hair out of it.
