Cosmic Meditation - How to Connect to the Cosmos When You Meditate

Friday 19 September 2008 @ 3:09 pm

by Trevor Johnson
Chances are that your heard the words “cosmic meditation” but aren’t really sure what they mean or how cosmic meditation is different from other types of meditation practice.

Other names for cosmic meditation include “grounding meditation” and “cosmic energy meditation”.

Its popularity has grown with the movie “The Secret” and also because it’s partially associated with Cosmic Ordering, popularized by Barbarah Mohr and in the UK by the resurrection of Noel Edmonds broadcasting career.

As you’d expect from a relatively new phenomenom, cosmic meditation is a blend of old and new meditation practices.

As with the majority of meditations, the primary aim is to help you to quiet your mind and generally calm down. Which in today’s modern world is a good aim in and of itself. Most guided meditation sessions start with asking you to lie down or sit down. They then move on to focusing on your breathing and cosmic meditation is no different at this stage. Deep breathing helps you to relax and to bring a stillness and calmness into an otherwise hectic world.

The main body of the meditation session is where things start to get slightly different. Instead of concentrating on further relaxation or on healing your body, cosmic meditation helps you to connect with the full energy of the cosmos.

It does this by reinforcing the connection we all have with the outside world, whether we realize the connection or not.

The method is often referred to as grounding because of the emphasis on connecting to the world around you. You’ve heard the description that someone seems grounded and it’s that experience that cosmic meditation aims to achieve.

Most visualizations will therefore guide you to the links you have with the outside world. A favorite of mine has a visualization where you see yourself barefoot in the grass with roots extending from the soles of your feet. Then, like a string tree, you feel the energy from the earth flowing up through you and filling your body with energy. Finally, the energy build-up is so big that it overflows and fills the space around you.

This kind of “connected” feeling is a common experience with cosmic meditating.

Ancient Prophecies And Traditions Found In Vedic Books

Friday 19 September 2008 @ 5:09 am

by Victor Epand
In many of the vedic books that are available on the market today, readers can discover information concerning the ancient prophecies surrounding the Veda. The Veda are known to be the oldest scriptures in the world that deals with psychics, prophecy, and mystical powers and readers can find all of this information and more within vedic books.

There are a variety of types of vedic subjects to be found in these books from psychic to clairvoyance to mystical powers, but all of these are included within the ancient prophecies. The prophecies that were given within the Vedas were given to all of humanity and are known as reliable and authentic as well as to give special empowerment. Many individuals, for some reason or the other, have thought for years that the Vedas were limited to the planets and the universe, but is not the case.

According to many of the ancient Indian philosophies, which have been found within the Vedas as future predictions, there are ten ways to determine to truth. The Arsa is a statement of an authoritative sage, the Upamana is a comparison, the Arthapatti is a presumption due to some other known fact and the Arthya is a tradition. The fifth is Abhava or absence, the Shabda is a revealed knowledge, the Pratyaksa is a direct perception, and the Sambhava is a larger quantity including smaller quantities. The Cesta is a gesture, and the Anumana is the inference, which is based on experience that can come from reason or deduction.

Many vedic books focus on the prophecies of the past that have actually occurred, which were known as the last age of the quarrel or the beginning of Kali-yuga. Psychics predicted that the Tibetan Buddhism thirteenth Dalai Lama would be dethroned. He was. It was predicted that earthquakes would destroy California. They did. These are only a few minor occurrences that many individuals are familiar with, but there are many more predictions that are written within the ancient Vedas that have became real.

Westerns individuals are becoming increasingly curious concerning the variety of ways to increase their personal development within vedic philosophy. These individuals are thirsty to know the universal truth hidden within the philosophies that many of the vedic books contain. Many individuals have benefitted from the culture of vedic and these individuals are willing to share there own personal experiences with others in order to show them the way of the vedic culture, traditions, and prophecies. Individuals that have dedicated their lives to these traditions have found that it can make a major difference within their lives in so many different ways.

Vedic culture can help many to improve their moral standards as well as compassion for others and in the way they approach life in general. Individuals that study the ancient prophecies and traditions of the vedic ways encourage others within their common practice of this unique culture. They also work together building a network with one another where they can share compassion and understand of the vedic culture and how it can affect their lives.

Stop Complaining! It’s Not Good For You

Thursday 18 September 2008 @ 4:09 pm

by Linda Binns
I have a challenge for you. Are you up for it? Good, here it is: for one full day (yes, a whole 24 hours) don’t complain — about anything. Seriously, try it. You might be surprised at how difficult it is. I don’t think of myself as a complainer but I have done this and it’s surprisingly difficult to do. It’s so easy to find a thought popping into your head when something happens. Like, you’re in a hurry, you rush into the grocery store to buy a couple of items, you’re heading straight for the ‘No More Than 6 Items’ Express Checkout when someone sneaks in front of you with what you swear is a month’s worth of shopping in their cart.

Be honest, if this happened to you would it cause you to complain, even just a little bit? You might not complain out loud, but in your head you’d be thinking something like “how can people be so ignorant, can’t they read the sign? Why does this always happen to me? Why does this always happen when I’m in a hurry? How could this person be so stupid?” etc. So, my challenge to you is that when something like this happens, instead of complaining, simply notice what’s happened. That’s it. Don’t judge it as good or bad, just notice it. You can say in your head something like “oh, look at that, someone just went into the Express Checkout Lane with more than 6 items in their cart. Isn’t that interesting!!” What do you think? Can you do it?

Actually, my husband and I have tried this and it can get quite funny. We find ourselves commenting on something and then suddenly saying right afterwards “not that I’m complaining!”

Why is this important? Well, I’m sure you’ve heard that what you focus on is what you get. I think just about everybody has heard about the law of attraction since the book and movie of The Secret came out. Mostly what I hear from people is something like: “well, yes I tried the law of attraction, but it doesn’t work for me.” Does that sound like a complaint? the law of attraction does work, just like the Law of Gravity — you don’t have much choice in the matter. It’s happening all the time. The key is what you focus your attention — and your energy on. Here’s the thing, when we complain it means we’re upset about something. This takes up a lot of our energy. Just try it next time you find yourself complaining and getting upset about something. Stop for a moment and pay attention to your body. You’ll probably find that you feel uncomfortable somewhere, perhaps an uneasy feeling in your stomach. Notice that your heart is probably beating faster, which means your blood pressure is rising. Breathing becomes faster and more shallow. All you can think about is what has happened to make you upset. You might find yourself talking to other people about it. They confirm how terrible it is and how right you are to be upset — adding to the energy that is focused on that particular issue. That’s a lot of energy.

Now, you may have been trying to use the law of attraction to manifest something in your life, such as a new car or pay raise, or whatever it is that you would like. As far as you are aware, you’ve been focusing on it a lot and writing affirmations, and visualizing it, etc. But think about it for a moment, the amount of energy that you put into that probably isn’t anywhere near the amount of energy that you would put into a negative situation, as I described above. The thing is that once something that we perceive as negative happens to us, we find it hard to let it go. Even if we are not consciously thinking about it, it’s usually churning away somewhere in the back of our mind. What you focus on IS what you get. So what you’ll find is that the more upset you are about something, or the more you complain about things in general, the more things will happen for you to get upset about. You’ll get a lot more of the same. Then you think that the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you. Of course it is, it’s just bringing you more of what you don’t want, rather than what you do want.

That’s why this is a great challenge. You see when we stop complaining it frees up our energy to focus not only on what we want, but what we already have that we are grateful for. I promise you, if you do this on a regular basis, you really will find that you’ll start to attract more positive people and experiences into your life — more to be grateful for. Once you find that you can go for a full day without complaining, then try for 2 days, then 3 and so on, until you can stop complaining all together. Does one day sound like too much to start with, then instead of complaining about it, try for just one hour. If you catch yourself complaining, then just start the clock all over again. Don’t give up, keep trying. You’ll find that it’s well worth it.

We all know people who complain all the time. Nothing is ever going well for them, and probably nothing ever will — as long as they keep complaining and putting their energy on what they really don’t want. Even if you think that you don’t complain, that you’re positive most of the time and you avoid people who complain, try it anyway — I think you’ll be surprised at those sneaky little thoughts that pop up that sound a lot like complaints!! You really will like your life a lot better without them.

Mastering Your Mind Power: More Tools For Tail Enders

Thursday 18 September 2008 @ 4:09 pm

by Former Retiree
Even though I have spent significant time talking about using a rubber band as an efficient, effective tool for subduing tail enders as you work toward mastering your mind power using affirmations, there are other tools that are available and effective. Some of these tools include EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), self hypnosis, professionally administered hypnosis, the use of subliminal media, visualization, various positive immersion workshops, and retreats.

There are probably even other tools that I know nothing about. Perhaps you already have your own. If do and if it is effective in subduing the tail enders to the degree that you are able to get new consistent thoughts, ideas, mental images, and beliefs into your subconscious mind, by all means use it.

I have also used self hypnosis and EFT to help me handle tail enders. I do not believe I ever learned to use self hypnosis properly as I did not obtain any noticeable success with it. With EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), however, my success rate was substantial. This tool teaches a technique of tapping certain areas of the body with your fingers.

The premise of the founder of EFT is that all negative emotions are the result of disruptions to the electrical system of the body. Immediately tapping on prescribed locations, in a prescribed way at the time of the disruption brings the body back into balance. In the state of balance, conditions are much superior for your subconscious mind to be receptive to your affirmations. The key is to tap while the tail ender is present and you physically feel the disruption.

My difficulty with EFT is when tail enders appear at work, at social gatherings, or other public places, tapping often generates stares, comments, questions about what you are doing, and even jokes. Any of those responses may produce more tail enders. At a minimum, you might feel some embarrassment, which is another form of tail ender.

If you are unable to tap immediately in these settings, the electrical disruption subsides but the body remains unbalanced. At a later time as soon as you are in comfortable surroundings, You should mentally re-play the situation that produced the tail ender to elicit some degree of the electrical disruption to your body that you experienced earlier and perform the tapping sequence to restore balance.

One of the reasons I prefer the rubber band technique is I can do it any time and nearly any place. I just need to be able to snap my wrist with the rubber band sufficiently hard to become acutely aware of the impact. In that instant, my focus on the tail ender stops. That brief moment presents me with my moment of power, during which I can refocus on any thought, idea, or mental image I choose, including my affirmation.

I am not aware of any tool that is 100% effective for 100% of the people who use it. Different people respond differently to different tools. Ultimately, you must test and you must choose what works effectively for you.

This, however, I know for sure. You can claim or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.

Are You Cut-Out to Become Successful?

Thursday 18 September 2008 @ 2:09 am

by Carlo Magno
It is time for us to stand and cheer for the doer, the achiever, the one who recognizes the challenge and does something about it.
- Vince Lombardi

Success is how you define it. People went out of their way, leaving behind their comfort zones on a quest to satisfy their desires or whatever they hope to achieve on a short or long-term basis. Some, after a thousand rounds of debilitating rejection and discouragements eventually succeeded. The majority who went out to this quest, after just a round of debilitating setback inevitably stayed down there…where they fell, never able to pick themselves up ever.

The obvious is staring right at our faces. It seems that people are huddled together in groups. One group consists of those who are cut-out for success, the other, the bigger group, consists of those who are cut-out for failure. It may seem so.

Actually, no one is cut-out to become successful, nor to become failure. The responsibility of becoming a success or a failure is always in our hands. I am forever fascinated by the immortal words of Elaine Maxwell which goes:

My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.

The difference therefore between those who succeed and those who fail is the former’s awareness that success is just around the corner. They realize that it is theirs for the taking…no matter how long it takes for them to get through the maze of the quest for success.

History is replete with success stories of people who achieved success only after thousand rounds of failures. Failure after failure did not dent their souls. They learned that, upon experiencing a setback, they did not stop searching for success because they finally failed; they failed because they stopped searching for success.

So you want to successfully achieve any of your goals? Don’t stop at anything!

Motivational Speaker Needed? Choose Wisely

Thursday 18 September 2008 @ 2:09 am

by Motivational Speaker
1. Why Choosing a Professional Motivational Speaker is so Necessary

Find a professional, motivational speaker with a proven ability to motivate and you can be assured your meeting will have the success all of your hard work will rightly deserve.

A professional motivational speaker can turn ‘average’ event evaluation scores into superlatives such as, ‘brilliant, fantastic and superb’.

Correctly motivate your delegates and you will receive credit for helping to instil in them an internal energy that determines all aspects of their future behaviour. This is why hiring a professional, motivational speaker is so important.

2. Watch out for the ‘Pretend’ Motivational Speaker

It is essential you understand that any Tom, Dick or Harry can legally call himself or herself a motivational speaker. So simply finding someone listed as such on a website, or in a business directory, is no guarantee as to his or her ability to motivate an audience.

Would-be motivational speakers are inventing themselves on a daily basis. They see the perceived success, and other associated privileges that a top international, professional, motivational speaker appears to have, and think along the lines ‘I could do that — easy money, travel to exotic places, fast cars, top hotels etc’. Ask a top motivational speaker if that is fair reflection of their lifestyle and he or she is likely to reply ‘If only’. So what do you need to look out for in your search for a motivational speaker?

3. Sourcing a Top Motivational Speaker

Type motivational speaker into a search engine and you can expect many million hits. This, of course, only partially helps you in your quest for the perfect motivational speaker for your event! How many days have you set aside for this task? If you are thinking in hours, rather than weeks, then you are advised to read on:

Choosing a short list of potential motivational speaker candidates from the first two or three pages of a search engine listing seems, and is to some extent, a logical way to proceed. However, there are further issues that are worthy of your consideration:

4. Do I Directly Contact a Motivational Speaker or go via an Agent or Bureau?

Motivational speaker agents and bureaus represent the majority of the best, professional motivational speakers.

Agents are only interested in someone who is already established as a top motivational speaker. They proactively promote the motivational speaker, putting a speaker’s name forward to conference organisers and the like. They charge a fee to the motivational speaker for this service, usually based on a percentage of the motivational speaker’s fee for the occasion. For effective ‘numbers’ management reasons, the choice of motivational speaker found through an agent, can be limiting.

Bureaus tend to be dedicated to providing conference organisers, corporations, associations, and educational institutions with a large selection of professional motivational speakers from which to choose. Too much choice can be their biggest disadvantage.

A so-called Motivational Speaker, good or bad, experienced or amateur, will also often represent their own interests, and so it may be useful if I now provide a few tips on how to identify an established, professional motivational speaker of quality from a large pool of the Johnny-come-lately brigade.

5. With a Quality Motivational Speaker Talent Will Shine Through

Top position for a motivational speaker on search engines usually fluctuates from one day to the next, so compose a short-list from the first two or three pages, and you are ready to begin.

It is worth of bearing in mind that sponsored links for a motivational speaker are there because someone is prepared to pay, sometimes-large amounts, to jump to the front of the queue of motivational speakers. Whereas this is an admirable indication that they are prepared to invest in advertising, it does not necessarily follow that you will receive the best value for your money. Here is an easy way to narrow down your short list:

6. Establish the Experience of the Motivational Speaker

Retype that which you originally searched for, into the search engine, and add one of the names you have recorded in your short list e.g. Motivational Speaker + His or Her Name.

Now you can better determine whether that particular motivational speaker has the expertise you require. You will also have an indication as whether or not an agent or bureau represents them as a motivational speaker.

7. Carefully Research the Motivational Speaker Testimonials

Any motivational speaker, worthy of consideration, will have a selection of testimonials from previous clients available for you to view on his or her website. Ensure companies and individuals are named. Descriptions such as ‘A senior manager at a large well-known company said….’, are of little to no value, and should start alarm bells ringing. Look for named sources from quality companies. Such individuals are usually very selective about which motivational speaker they are prepared to recommend as their own reputation could be on the line.

8. Can the Motivational Speaker Motivate?

It may sound obvious, but the most important trait required by a motivational speaker is an ability to motivate. Tragically, some meetings organisers have previously discovered, to their considerable cost, that it does not necessarily follow that a professional motivational speaker can motivate.

Nor can it be assumed that someone described as a ‘celebrity motivational speaker’ can be expected to somehow inspire your audience by simply turning up on the day. Talks provided by a top motivational speaker are carefully structured and based upon a science that is studied by few and practised by even fewer.

Ensure your choice of motivational speaker has proven credentials, and don’t assume that members of a related, professional body, are somehow qualified and suitable. Minimal experience as a motivational speaker and the price of a membership fee are all that is required, in qualification, to becoming a member of some such organisations.

Being published on motivational techniques, through a reputable source, is a good indication of the expertise needed to work as a top motivational speaker. Use the method described in Tip 6 above to obtain a quick and easy result.

Ideally, watch videos of the motivational speaker performing, and listen to the audience reaction to determine whether he or she has a rapport with the audience. Rapport and humour are essential ingredients in the motivational speaker cake. If, when watching video clips provided by the ‘motivational’ speaker, you are not laughing, then your audience are not likely to laugh either! Laughter is an essential part of motivation.

9. Cost Issues Regarding a Motivational Speaker

Ideally you should have some idea of a ‘speaker fee’ budget before commencing your search for a motivational speaker. The costs in hiring a motivational speaker can vary dramatically and are dependent on the location of venue, numbers of delegates attending, the duration of the required motivational speech and the quality and popularity of the motivational speaker. My advice is this — if your meeting is worth holding it is worth investing in an experienced and proven, motivational speaker. Paying the little bit more often produces an immensely worthwhile investment.

Whether you deal with the motivational speaker direct, or through an agent or bureau, should purely be a matter of choice. In theory the fees of the motivational speaker, quoted from an agent, bureau or motivational speaker, should be the same.

If you are interested in a celebrity motivational speaker you are unlikely to find direct contact details for that person, and your only line of enquiry will need to be through an agent or bureau specialising in celebrity motivational speakers.

Agents that actively promote a motivational speaker have a good idea of the fee normally required to secure a motivational speaker’s services and will share that figure with you when you make your initial enquiry. It is wise to obtain an all-in-fee from an agent.

A bureau’s commission is normally obtained from the motivational speaker. This commission can vary but normally falls between 15% and 30% of the fee for the appearance of the motivational speaker. If they do not have a particular motivational speaker on their books they are usually happy to trace them and make any arrangements on your behalf.

Few professional motivational speakers work with only one agent or bureau. If there is no mention of exclusivity on promotional material you can assume there is not. This, in effect means, that if you come across a motivational speaker of your choice, and he or she supplies contact details, this is an implied permission for you to contact him or her direct and independently negotiate a motivational speaker fee. Your aim should be to obtain value for money.

10. Information Normally Required by a Motivational Speaker.

If you are contacting a motivational speaker direct, and you have researched him or her as advised, you will be confident in knowing you are speaking with the right person for the job.

Should you decide on taking the agent or bureau route, the first thing you need to make perfectly clear, for the reasons described in Tip 8 above, is that you are seeking a motivational speaker.

Next supply the date of the event. A top motivational speaker is usually very popular and you can save yourself a lot of time, and disappointment, by establishing their availability early in the proceedings. It is perfectly acceptable to ask if you can provisionally hold a particular motivational speaker for a few days until a final decision is made.

Good meetings organisers will usually provide a description of the objectives and purpose of a conference, venue, size and type of audience and the duration of the talk required by the motivational speaker. You also need to clearly state what you expect from the motivational speaker.

By way of example you might say ‘at the end of your motivational talk I want the delegates to be laughing and enjoying the meeting. They need to have been entertained, educated, motivated and inspired to eventually return to their place of work and put into action some of the great tips we will be providing at other times during the conference’.

The best motivational speakers provide tried and tested presentations that are skilfully adapted to fit in with the theme of your meeting and will usually meet your requirements fully. For your own peace-of-mind obtain a written agreement of the terms agreed and, where possible, a guarantee of total satisfaction from the motivational speaker.

To Summarise - What’s Needed to Source a Top Motivational Speaker

a) Use a search engine to source a motivational speaker.
b) Produce a short-list of potential motivational speakers.
c) Establish the credibility of the motivational speaker by including their name and area of expertise in a further search of the web.
d) Where possible watch videos of the motivational speaker in action to determine whether they establish a rapport with the audience and their overall style of delivery is as required. Laughing is an essential part of successful motivation.
e) Check the motivational speaker for quality by researching named testimonials provided by his or her previous clients.
f) Contact the motivational speaker, agent or bureau and establish availability, cost etc.
g) Supply the necessary information needed by the motivational speaker.
h) Obtain some form of contract with the motivational speaker that includes a guarantee of satisfaction were possible.

So there you have it: my tips on sourcing a motivational speaker. I wish you every success in your search for a motivational speaker and the meeting you plan to hold.

What comes around goes round

Monday 15 September 2008 @ 11:09 am

by jayanti
Always remember that what comes around goes around. You want to be able to achieve your hidden agenda, but you need to achieve it without hurting someone else. You need to learn how to achieve their hidden agendas along with your own. A good example of this is to credit them for their ideas. They have helped you winner the bigger goal, but you may need them in the future and if you don’t credit them for their ideas, they will feel used. They will give you negativity.

Negativity is not something that people should tolerate, but it can easily be avoided. You must realize that when you give someone credit or recognize their accomplishments you have just achieved their hidden agenda. Everyone needs to feel needed and to give credit where credit is due feeds his or her appetite for that feeling.

In the beginning, you don’t want to burn bridges because you never know when you will need them again. If you were to allow them to help you excel with your agenda and then toss them aside when it comes to giving credit, then they aren’t going to help you again. They are going to let everyone know the type of person that you are and that is when the negativity to set in. What you give to the world is what the world gives to you. If you show that you have no moral ethics, then the world will show you the same courtesy.

Negative people don’t make it to their goals. For example, your goal in life is to become the CEO of your company. Along the way, you manipulated and used everyone. When you finally make it to your goal, you may get knocked down, which is normal. However, if your fall is cushioned as you descend the corporate ladder, you won’t ever get back what you lost.

To stay positive in all your interpersonal relationships you will have to follow some of these, if not all, tips:
Start each relationship with your hidden agenda, but think about the person’s feelings. You don’t want to be cut throat or undermining. You want to be courteous.

You want to support them and guide them towards your goals.

Give encouragements. This can be as simple as saying good job or asking for their opinion. Many people will guide you towards your goals. If you stay friendly, the atmosphere of the team will be bearable and encouraging.

Your department will work harder because they care about the team and the goals that you have set backs. If you encounter a set, back reformulate and consult the person on what they would do if they were you. This is being positive because you aren’t bursting with anger, you are reaching out for solutions. This is all about your patients. The time and care that you put into the project will reflect on the time and care that others put in. Therefore, if you can stay positive by finding solutions rather than explode, the team will work better.

When you make small achievements to your goal, celebrate. Smile and be happy! The next day show your appreciation by bringing breakfast to your team or by simply congratulating your team on the hard work that they put into the work.

Finally, when you have met you goal and find yourself with the opportunity to better your by getting the promotion, you will want to thank everyone and allow them to know that you appreciate everything that they have done for you.

Even though the steps are mainly for business related interpersonal relationships, you can easily use them for other interpersonal relationships. The key is to appreciate the person and to show your appreciation. Encouragement is another tool that you will want to use. For friends, show your support. For girlfriends/boyfriends, tell them how you feel about them and allow them to know just how much they matter. Everyone in the world just wants to matter to someone.

Mastering Your Mind Power: How To Craft Effective Affirmations

Saturday 13 September 2008 @ 4:09 pm

by Former Retiree
Crafting good, effective affirmations is not rocket science. In fact you have done quite well at developing and using them already. Remember the last time you thought about a six-week vacation or you saw the luxury home of your dreams? A thought like I CAN NOT AFFORD THAT probably came to your mind.

That thought was an affirmation. It was negative, but it was an affirmation none the less. You did not analyze it. You did not argue with it. You simply accepted it, dismissed the vacation or the home of your dreams from your mind and went on with whatever you were doing. Just imagine the number of times you thought or uttered a similar statement about other more mundane situations.

A major factor to keep in mind is the negative statement above was produced by your self image. It is telling you that you are not worthy of that vacation or that home. It is saying you BELONG in your current situation. It is all right for other people to take such a vacation or own such a home because they probably did something dishonest or illegal to get the money to experience them. You should remain true to your values and stay put.

This I predict for you: If you continue to listen to your self image, your future situation will be very much like your present one.

Suppose you changed I CAN NOT AFFORD THAT to I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO AFFORD THAT RIGHT NOW; BUT THERE IS A WAY TO DO IT, AND I TRUST MY DEEPER MIND TO PROVIDE ME WITH A SOLUTION.

Do you notice a shift? You are no longer summarily dismissing your desire. You are developing an air of expectancy, however slight. Let us take it a step farther. Your ultimate desire is to BE on that vacation or BE in your luxury home. Simply mentally place yourself into the enjoyable activities of your vacation or the beautiful confines of your luxury home.

Allow yourself to feel the excitement and the joy of experiencing your desire in that moment. Form another affirmation to capture that MENTAL MOMENT of having what you want. I AM SO HAPPY AND GRATEFUL NOW THAT I EXPERIENCE THIS WONDERFUL VACATION IN ____________, or I AM SO HAPPY AND GRATEFUL NOW THAT I EXPERIENCE MY BEAUTIFUL, LUXURY HOME!

Tail enders are likely to spring into your mind to attempt to convince you that your reality is your present surroundings and your present financial conditions. Firmly, and in a non-confrontational manner, invite them to leave, immediately focus your attention on your desire, and continue with your affirmations.

Engage as many of your five senses in your mental experience as you possibly can while repeating your affirmations. Make sure your affirmation references the present moment. In essence, affirmations should always be accompanied by a mental image or visualization of your desire to the extent possible.

This I know for sure. You can claim or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.

As everyone who’s on the path of spiritual growth knows, from time to time you will be tested to see if you are really serious about your spiritual journey and if your resolve is strong enough to give you more and more gifts from above. So, will life be just smooth sailing on calm seas? No, there will be moments of fear and doubt, as you will be tested to see whether the intention to fulfill your mission is for real. But you are not left alone on this journey.

Your mission will take more than one day to conclude, even more than one year. It is your life work, steadily unfolding as you progress on your path. It’s quite normal that you are in need of assistance on this journey. This can be received from friends, family members, professional counselors, training courses, education programs, effective aid, contacts, books, …

You are not supposed to complete your mission entirely on your own. Your mission is connected to the mission of the people around you. Each of them also has their mission, and part of it may well be to assist you! Ask for help, and don’t carry the false belief that you need to do this on your own.

Do not let this happen. Remember that you are a social being living in a social context, able to help others and receive help from others. Everybody else is here with a specific purpose. Part of that purpose it to help you! Without other people receiving your help, your mission would be meaningless. In the same way, your needs give meaning to the mission of others. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance when you need it!

You are not alone in this world, and you are not on your own when it comes to fulfilling your mission. You have fellow travelers, both seen and unseen. The latter kind can be contacted in your dreamtime. It is not uncommon for them to help you along using certain coincidences.

You can spontaneously have dreams about your mission, but you can also actively request guidance through your dreams. When you are in doubt about whether a certain action is appropriate, when you are wondering what direction to follow, you can ask for more clarity through a dream. You will receive feedback.

If you ask for guidance through a dream, write down your question in the form of a positive statement. For instance : I will accept that new job; I will move to that other country, I will end my relationship with…. Make sure the formulation of your statement is positive. Then put the paper with your statement under your pillow, make a prayer or take some time for meditation and wait for your dream.

When you are having dreams about success, happiness, passing an exam, being on time, winning, being trusted or any other pleasant circumstance, then you dream is only confirming that you are on the right track. However, when you are having dreams about disaster, being late, forgetting something, losing something, drowning, having an accident, falling or any other unpleasant circumstance, then your dream is warning you that you are not on the right track.

During daytime, it happens that you are guided in mysterious ways while pursuing your mission: a book falls open right on that page that provides you with an answer to your problem; you are encouraged to head on by a random utterance of a friend or a stranger, or even a poster or a commercial; you come across a TV program dealing with the topic you yourself are also dealing with, giving you some missing information; you get a phone call from someone who — without knowing it — is helping you on your way; you happen to overhear a conversation between strangers discussing the very issue you are having,…
The Swiss psychiatrist Jung called this phenomenon synchronicity.

Once you have decided to fulfill your mission and make this the most important business of your life, then all kinds of unexpected events will unfold in order to clear the boulders from your path and help you make the next step.

When you take your mission seriously and are making an effort to implement it, then the Universe will assist you to reach your goal. For every step you make in the direction of your life goal, the Universe is making a step in your direction. That way you only need to cover half the distance!
You feel like you are being carried and stimulated to keep on going in the direction of your life goal.

As the saying goes: Help yourself, so help you God.
